Editorial Policy

How we research, write, review, and maintain the analysis, guides, and educational content published on HT Bot.

Last updated: October 2026

In short: every article on HT Bot is prepared by our research team, checked against primary market data, reviewed by an editor before publishing, and dated. We disclose our sources, correct errors openly, and clearly separate editorial content from advertising.

Who produces our content

Content on ht-b.in is produced by the HT Bot Research Desk, the research and product team behind HT Bot. The team includes traders and engineers who build and operate the platform's trading systems and work with Indian index options daily.

Articles are published under a team byline rather than individual names because the research is collaborative. Each published article shows its author, review status, and publication and update dates.

How articles are created

  1. Topic selection. We prioritize questions our users actually ask: market analysis, strategy explanations, platform tutorials, risk management, and regulatory topics relevant to Indian options traders.
  2. Research and drafting. Drafts are prepared by the research team. We use internal tooling and AI-assisted drafting to speed up first versions of data-heavy pieces such as daily market analysis, but every published article is reviewed, edited, and approved by a human editor before it goes live.
  3. Data verification. Market figures are checked against the platform's own session data and public index information before publishing.
  4. Editorial review. An editor checks accuracy, clarity, structure, and compliance with our disclosure rules. Articles that fail review are not published.
  5. Publication and updates. Articles display their publication date and are updated when facts change, with the update reflected in the article's metadata.

Sources we rely on

  • Official exchange data from the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and BSE.
  • Publicly available derivatives and index information.
  • HT Bot platform data from paper trading and live trading systems, presented in aggregate form.
  • Regulatory material published by SEBI and other official bodies where applicable.

Where an article relies on specific data, the figures and context are described in the article itself. We do not publish personal user data, bot names, or account-level information in editorial content.

Accuracy, corrections, and updates

We aim for accuracy, but markets move and mistakes can happen. If you believe an article contains an error:

  • Email us at support@ht-b.in with the article URL and the specific concern.
  • We review every report and correct confirmed factual errors promptly.
  • Significant corrections are reflected in the article text and its updated timestamp.

Market analysis articles describe conditions on a specific date and are maintained as a historical record. Educational guides are reviewed periodically and updated when market rules or product behavior change.

Advertising and independence

ht-b.in may display advertising, including Google AdSense, on content pages. Advertising is clearly labelled. Advertisers do not influence what we write, how we write it, or which topics we cover. Editorial decisions are made independently of commercial relationships.

Not investment advice

All content on ht-b.in is for information and education only. It is not investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security. HT Bot is a technology platform, not a SEBI-registered investment advisor or broker.

Options trading involves substantial risk of loss and past performance does not predict future returns. Please read our Risk Disclosure before trading.
